Facebook Ads Manager Goes Mobile

Facebook’s Ads Manager has gone mobile, as the social network announced in a post on its Facebook for Business page that Ads Manager will be included in its flagship iOS andAndroid applications, as well as via its mobile site.

Facebook said Ads Manager will be rolled out on mobile “in the coming days,” on a global basis, with all advertisers having access to it by the end of the summer. Features include the ability to:

• Pause or resume campaigns.
• Edit budgets and schedules.
• View insights.
• Respond to alerts.

When the feature is rolled out to advertisers, it will be available via the Ads Manager bookmark in their apps.

Twitter is Sexy now!

Yes, Like Facebook, twitter too has changed it's colors and rolled out the new twitter look. It is really cool but what i am afraid of is the way twitter is going ahead with its expansion.

They are doing the same mistake what Orkut did when they redesigned the new UI and features. I was very active on Orkut as well as on Facebook, i was expecting some majoj new changes from this giant but it disappointed me a lot by developing itself into Facebook. It was hard to differentiate whether it's an Orkut or the replica of Facebook.

twitter has introduced few new button in it's new Avatar- Home, @Connect and #Discover.

Now, if you see the Brand handles on Twitter, you can see the same design and the features what our beloved Facebook is supposed to do with the Brand pages.

As of now, only few tweepals could experienced the new Twitter look but as per the official blog by Twitter.com, they will roll out the new Twitter to all it's users in the coming weeks.


As per official twitter blog on new Twitter:

"We’ll be rolling out the redesigned Twitter over the next few weeks. You can see it immediately on the just-updated versions of mobile.twitter.com, Twitter for iPhone, and Twitter for Android. You can get early access on your computer by downloading and logging into Twitter for iPhone or Twitter for Android. We’re working on updates for other apps, such as Twitter for iPad, and will share news as they become available."

How to Change Your Name on Facebook

You can change your name on FB using these simple steps:

1) Log on to Facebook.

Once you are log in, click the "Account" link in the top right corner and click "Account Settings" from the drop down menu.


2) Look for the "Name" section, click the "edit" link, and enter the new desired information.


3) You can't change your name to some weird random name.


4) It may take FB server up to 24 hours to replicate changes, though it happens in the go.


5) Here it is, your new FB name. :)

Slap on Sibbal's Face

In reply to the lame request by our telecom minister, FB has slapped him so hard. Here is what Facebook has to say:

"We want Facebook to be a place where people can discuss things freely, while respecting the rights and feelings of others, which is why we have already have policies and on-site features in place that enable people to report abusive content. We will remove any content that violates our terms, which are designed to keep material that is hateful, threatening, incites violence or contains nudity off the service. We recognise the government's interest in minimising the amount of abusive content that is available online and will continue to engage with the Indian authorities as they debate this important issue"

Ever since Mr. Kapil Sibbal,  India’s acting telecommunications minister reportedly met the top officials of Yahoo, Facebook & Microsoft and asked them to screen the content from India before it gets published.
Social networking world reacted so strongly to reply back to this dumbass act.
This whole drama is to keep a cap on the thought process of Junta over various social networking channels.

Congress has seen the incumbency factor in our tweets, updates and want to reduce it before election since Social networks have already fucked some bad governance in Egypt & Israel. So, just want to save its ass and to keep their ego high, this govt. is behaving so stupidly and acting like morons.

Google Doodle Celebrates Physicist Niels Bohr's 127th Birthday

Google Doodle celebrates the 127th birthday of Niels Bohr, the Nobel Prize-winning physicist who revolutionized our understanding of the structure of atoms.

The Google Doodle shows off the atomic model that Bohr came up with in 1913. Bohr was the first to incorporate quantum physics into our understanding of atoms by putting forth the notion that electrons orbit around the nucleus of an atom.

Bohr was born in Copenhagen in 1885 and went on to win the Nobel Prize for his work in 1922. After World War II broke out, Bohr fled Denmark and eventually ended up in the United States where he and his son worked on the Manhattan Project, which led to the development of the atomic bomb. While he may be associated with the bomb, the Nobel Prize committee points out in their biography of him online that Bohr devoted much of his later years to the "peaceful application of atomic physics and to political problems arising from the development of atomic weapons."

Bohr is now widely viewed as one of the leading physicists of the 20th century.
